Addiction to Feverfew

Long term use of feverfew has been known to cause hallucinations and can create a chemical dependency upon the herb. Those who binge on feverfew will either go in a trance-like state, wander about as if experiencing a world that others around them can not see, or go into a deep sleep for 24 hours or more.   Some users who are addicted report that the disphoria and "hallucinations" they experience are deeply spiritual, connecting them with Nature, the Fey, spirits of ancestors, or their gods. While this may be true for some, usually those who are addicted binge so heavily on feverfew that they become of little use to themselves or others, creating a burden on family, friends, loved ones, and most usually, greater society.
