Luminari
The Luminari, often referred to as The Mystics, are ethereal and ghostlike beings, one of the few races in Purity Fields that still retains a strong connection to true magic. Born from a mystical cave on the edge of the Whispering Dunes, the Luminari come into the world through a sacred ritual known as "Epivyre," performed three times a year. Each ritual brings forth a single Luminari, fully formed and capable of caring for itself immediately upon emerging from the cave.
The origins of the Luminari date back to the time when the plains were raised. The magic of the ancient creatures, who were once abundant in the area, seeped into the cave, giving rise to these enigmatic beings.

Ghostly Form: Your ghostlike nature grants you resistance to necrotic damage and advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened. Incorporeal Movement: Once per short or long rest, you can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. You take 1d10 force damage if you end your turn inside an object. Innate Magic: You know the Mage Hand cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Detect Magic spell once per long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Misty Step spell once per long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells. Epivyre's Blessing: Your birth through the Epivyre ritual endows you with a deep connection to magic. You have proficiency in the Arcana skill. Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Luminari. The Luminari language is melodic and ethereal, often described as a blend of musical notes and soft whispers. Cultural Traits Ritualistic Knowledge: Luminari culture revolves around the rituals and the cave from which they are born. You have proficiency with one of the following: Ancient Wisdom: As a race deeply connected to the ancient magic of Purity Fields, you gain the following trait: Arcane Insight: You can add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) to any Intelligence (History) or Intelligence (Investigation) checks you make that don't already include your proficiency bonus.

Luminari are tall, graceful, and possess an air of otherworldly mysticism. Their presence is often accompanied by a faint, glowing aura, and they are known for their high intelligence and deep understanding of magic. Luminari have a ghostly, translucent appearance, with pale, shimmering skin that seems to glow in low light. Their hair floats around them as if underwater, and their eyes are large and luminous.
