Description

Stilts Rumpelakk is an elderly Blacken Elf. He wears a purple robe and hood while wielding a metallic staff with a large, deep blue orb at its top, this is the Staff of Atnonut. Stilts is the leader of the Order of the Eye, a group of seven, powerful mages dedicated to protecting Maji from harm.

Ideals

As the leader of the Order of the Eye, Stilts sees it as his duty to protect Maji from harm. He is also very into his research, spending most of his free time in his tower experimenting.

Bonds

Stilts swore loyalty to the Imperial Spy Empire and the decendants of Gunther William-Spy centuries ago. His loyalty has never faultered.

Flaws

His obsession with his research can often affect his relationships with people, never having enough time for social interactions. He also acts very mysteriously, often doing very minor things to achieve goals in the far future. These actions may often be harmful to the world and people around him.

Spellcasting. Stilts Rumpelakk is an 18th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 19, +11 to hit with spell attacks). Stilts can cast disguise self and invisibility at will and has the following spells prepared:   Cantrips (at will): fire bolt, light, mage hand, prestidigitation, shocking grasp   1st level (4 slots): detect magic, identify, mage armor*, magic missile   2nd level (3 slots): detect thoughts, mirror image, misty step   3rd level (3 slots): counterspell, fly, lightning bolt   4th level (3 slots): banishment, fire shield, stoneskin*   5th level (3 slots): cone of cold, scrying, wall of force   6th level (1 slot): globe of invulnerability   7th level (1 slot): teleport   8th level (1 slot): mind blank*   9th level (1 slot): time stop   *Stilts casts these spells on himself before combat.


Magic Resistance. Stilts has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.   Darkvision. Stilts has superior vision in dark and dim conditions. He can see in dim light within 60ft of himself as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. He can't discern color in darkness, only shades of grey.   Paranoia. Deception checks made against Stilts are done with disadvantage.   Corrupt Skin. Blacken Elf skin is cracked and glows in all situations. When not wearing armor, Stilts produces a 5ft radius around himself of dim light and has disadvantage on all stealth rolls in which that light could give his position away.

Actions

Staff of Atnonut. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 1d20+6 to hit, reach 5ft, one target. Hit: 4 (1d8) 1d8 bludgeoning damage.   Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 1d20+9 to hit, reach 5ft or range 20/60, one target. Hit: 5 (1d4+3) 1d4+3 piercing damage.   Temple of Stilts. Stilts can expend a 5th level spell slot to summon the Temple of Stilts, a moderately sized temple with 1000 square feet of open room. The outside of the temple has the appearance of a desert pyramid, with two towers on either side of the entrance. The inside is sparse, containing a small table with two chairs on the right and a study with a desk and bookshelves in the back. The temple remains for 24 hours or until Stilts decides it should go. Anything left in the temple upon disappearing remains there until summoned again.
