You create a spear made of coagulated blood, dealing 1d8 necrotic damage to yourself, and launch it at a target within 60 ft. Make a ranged spell attack roll. On a hit, the target takes 6d6 piercing damage. If there is a solid surface behind the target, the spear drives itself into the surface behind the target, pinning them to it and giving them the restrained condition.

The spear remains for up to 1 minute or until you choose to dismiss it. While pinned by the spear, a creature can use their action to make a Constitution saving throw to pull themselves off of the lance. On a failed saving throw, they take 2d6 piercing damage, or half as much on a successful save.

Plasma Enhancement: You may expend Plasma to enhance the damage of the lance, adding 1d6 additional damage to the initial attack per point of Plasma you expend. You must expend the Plasma before making the attack.

At higher levels:

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th-level or higher, the range of the attack increases by 30 ft. for each spell slot above 3rd-level.
