A gemstone which contains a crystallized bit of spellcasting magic. When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action while holding a mind crystal, you can use it to modify the spell. You can only use a single mind crystal on a spell cast and you cannot use a mind crystal and metamagic on the same spell cast. Once a mind crystal has been used it becomes a nonmagical gem worth 50 gold.

This mind crystal enables you to select one creature affected by your spell and inflict disadvantage on their first saving throw against the spell's effects.

This mind crystal has a rich red tone, similar to a ruby.
