Weapon
Rare
Finesse Reach Damage: 1d10 slashing damage + 1d8 radiant damage A ceremonial sword crafted entirely from refined gelwed, intended purely for symbolic purposes. The weapon measures 40 inches in total length, with a blade of 32 inches and a hilt of 8 inches. Due to the malleability of gelwed, the blade is reinforced with a lattice of unseen shaeolwen embedded within its core, ensuring structural stability without detracting from its aesthetic value. The blade is double-edged, with edges that taper evenly to a rounded tip. The surface of the blade is polished, reflecting light with exceptional brilliance. Along the central fuller, which spans three-quarters of the blade’s length, is an engraved inscription rendered in High Bohrnian script: “The Light Eternal Guides the Just.” The engraving is shallow and filled with white enamel, enhancing its visibility against the golden background. The crossguard is a horizontal bar measuring six inches across, crafted from solid gelwed and shaped into two outward-facing Helflinz. Each sunburst consists of ten rays, their edges beveled for definition. The central hub of each Helflinz is slightly domed, creating a three-dimensional effect. The grip is cylindrical, wrapped in alternating layers of white silk and gelwed wire. The silk is tightly bound and stitched with golden thread, ensuring a seamless appearance. The gelwed wire spirals evenly along the length of the grip, its edges polished to prevent abrasion. The pommel is a spherical gelwed ornament, three inches in diameter, adorned with a relief of the Great Tree encircled by radiating rays. The relief is rendered with exceptional precision, showing individual leaves and roots in shallow, crisp detail. A thin ginelwa ring separates the pommel from the grip, adding a subtle visual break. The scabbard is constructed from lacquered white wood, overlaid with thin sheets of hammered gelwed. The surface of the scabbard is engraved with interlocking sun and tree motifs, filled with sinwed inlay to provide contrast. The throat and chape are reinforced with gelwed caps, each engraved with the words: “Bearer of the Light, Shield of the Faithful.” The scabbard is affixed with two ginelwa loops for attachment to a ceremonial belt."Raskirith knows no darkness."
