Description
Prince Jaldek Qosaary eld-Najd is a Qartagonian male brass dragonborn noble and one of the top leaders of the Grand Army of the Dragon . The nephew of Emir Sinan Qosaary eld-Najd, Jaldek is the heir apparent to the Emirate of Tanis , the wealthiest princedom of the Qartagonian Emirates and is a member of the influential Clan Najd. Within the Grand Army of the Dragon, Jaldek commands the 2nd Horn of the Niru, a force of about 4,000 souls. He is the chief rival of Safaar Qosaariya eld-Sadek , the sultana of the Grand Army of the Dragon and commander-in-chief of Qartagonian forces during the Second Pilgrim War. Jaldek has made it no secret that he distrusts Safaar and has rather openly begun consolidating power within the GAD. In the event that Safaar fails to retake Jeharoa , observers are confident that Jaldek will attempt to seize control of the GAD and remove Safaar.

Dragonsbreath steel scimitar: Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6+3 slashing damage. Jambiya venom dagger: Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 1d4+3 slashing damage. The poison remains for 1 minute or until an attack using this weapon hits a creature. That creature must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 2d10 poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute. The dagger can't be used this way again until the next dawn. Draconic Breath (Fire) Recharges After A Long Rest: Once per day, Jaldek can unleash a blast of fire breath as an attack. When the breath attack is used, all target creatures within a cone extending 60 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a 15 or lower, the target fails and takes 2d6 fire damage. On a success, the target takes half damage.
Reactions
Parry: Jaldek adds 2 to his AC against one melee attack that would hit him. To do so, Jaldek must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
