Description

A redfaced gnome with beady dark eyes and jaw masticating some smelly herb. His gnomish cap is black, rumpled, and bent forward as if its bottling his frustration.   Ogwin was part of a family of gnomish thieves in the city of Badashen. After a job went wrong, his family abandoned him to the law and he was imprisoned. He repented and became a follower of Balan and Qingu. He killed his family and went to Jeharoa in an attempt to atone for his sins. He joined a group of Pilgrims and saw combat at Alameen. He escaped but has since vowed revenge. He believes killing the Qartagonians will bring him absolution.

Ideals

Theft is akin to murder. It must be punished.

Bonds

The Ghosts of Alameen have lost their castle at Vaux Mosiris. I will punish those who took it.

Flaws

The Qartagonians must all be punished for the sin of taking Alameen and Vaux Mosiris. Regardless of if they were in the GAD, they must be taught a lesson.


Artificer's Lore. Whenever Ogwin makes an Intelligence (History) check related to magic items, alchemical objects, ar technological devices, Ogwin can add twice your proficiency bonus, instead of any proficiency bonus Ogwin would normally appIy.   Gnome Cunning: Ogwin has advantage on ali Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws against magic.   Tinker. Ogwin has proficiency with artisan's toois (tinker's tools). Using those tools, Ogwin can spend 1 hour and 10 gp worth of materiaIs to construct a Tiny clockwork device (AC 5, 1 hp). The device ceases to function after 24 hours (unless Ogwin spends 1 hour repairing it to keep the device functioning), at when Ogwin uses his action to dismantle it; at that time, Ogwin can reclaim the materiaIs used to create it. Ogwin can have up to three such devices active at a time.   Cunning Action. On each of his turns, Ogwin can use a bonus action to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.   Evasion. If Ogwin is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, Ogwin instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails.   Sneak Attack (1/Turn). Ogwin deals an extra 14 4d6 damage when he hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Ogwin that isn't incapacitated and Ogwin doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Actions

Multiattack. Ogwin makes three attacks with his shortsword.   Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., onetarget. Hit: 7 1d6+4 piercing damage.   Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 80/320ft., one target. Hit: 8 1d8+4 piercing damage.

Reactions

Uncanny Dodge. Ogwin halves the damage that he takes from an attack that hits him. Ogwin must be able to see the attacker.
